This is a great project, and I believe this is a secure method of access 2 phase security need both card and key. Also, when the key is entered wrong 4 times the card resets itself and is void. This is mainly used for networks that need highly secure access and for financial transactions.. though I think with a little bit of work we can get something working for our door.

Tuesday May 12 at 7pm at the Hackery - Introduction to soldering. We're going to hang out and solder a whole bunch of resistors and leds until everybody is really good at soldering. You will also learn some basic electronics theory. We'll have everything except for the irons for you to learn, so if you have a soldering iron bring it down. Netgear WGR615V setup. First reset the router to factory defaults. The reset button is on the back of the router. You will need a paperclip, or something similar to push the button inside of the hole. Press and hold the reset button for 5 sec. This will set the user/password to the defaults.
